Last October I left everything behind and went on a mission of Peace and Magnificence. What has happened since then has been nothing short of a miracle. What has happened since then is not at all what I had expected. (what ever that might have been)
Traveling all over the country, I have had the opportunity to meet many different people and to see them at their very best. . .folks just being folks. . . going about their day to day lives in some of the most amazingly magnificent ways. I have shared some of the stories with you already like the one about Mr. G and the family in Vacaville, the mudwrestling demos and Carla Sanders and, of course, the adventures of the World’s Greatest Kisser.
In all the different people I have met, in all the different places, I find it so interesting that they all have the same longing for connection with other people. . . that desire to belong, they all want good health and prosperity, and everyone talks about peace and harmony. It’s awesome to watch people at their best. . . being who they are. It makes me stop and think. . . to take inventory of the many, many things I have to be thankful for. So, that is what I have been doing this past week. . . making a list of the 101 things I am most thankful for. That was when, by complete accident, I realized that I already have everything I could ever possibly want or need. As I read the list over and over, allowing the feeling of gratitude for every single thing to really sink in. . . one at a time. . . it occurs to me how truly miraculous life is. This life is so full of abundance. . .of prosperity. . .of peace and magnificence!
Now, there it is, my gift to you – I invite you to get paper and pen (or crayon, pencil, magic marker, chalk, or your computer) and make your list of the 101 things you are most thankful for. Here’s what I did. . .I started every line with the words. . .”I appreciate and am thankful for. . .” and filled in the line. . . one at a time. This is not something to rush through, or what’s the point of doing it at all? It doesn’t take much time though, and when you finish, I’m sure you will want to share the whole idea with everyone you care about. The feeling is hard to beat!
When I finished, I said this prayer of thanksgiving which I also share with you. . .”Mother – Father GOD, I appreciate this opportunity and this day and all it’s wonder. I give thanks for . . .(then I read my list one item at a time).” I ended the prayer with the words. . . “ This or something better, for the highest good of all concerned. (see note at bottom of page) I give thanks to Mother – Father GOD for all the blessings that I have and all the blessings I am receiving. And it is so.”
What if parents would do that with their children? What if we do that when we are waiting in line at the grocery store and caught in traffic jams? What if we spent more time noticing what we have and how wonderful. . . how Magnificent. . . the people around us are? What if we notice, and take action on, all the ways we can make a difference in the world. . . every day? And what if we give thanks for all the blessings that we have and all the blessings we are receiving each and every day during the noon hour so everywhere, around the world, in each time zone, someone is giving thanks? What would happen if we paid special attention to all we have to be thankful for just one hour a day, one day a week, one weekend a month, one week a year? Then we would be so preoccupied with noticing everything we have and giving thanks . . .that we would completely forget about everything else. . . Imagine!
Everyone, everywhere would realize how blessed they are, how loved they are, how Magnificent they already are!. . . and most importantly. . .what they have to give! No matter what we ever receive, everything pales when compared to what we have to give. . . to what we are willing to give! The interesting thing is, history would show that we already know that. When was the last time you heard of someone being celebrated because of what they got? Yet we freely hand out awards for what people have given to others of their time, energy and resources. Why would anyone want to make a name for themselves for what they got . . .when they re-create themselves as legends by what they give?
The greatest gift I have ever received is the opportunity to give away what I have been given. No, it doesn’t come from a store or a catalogue and it can’t be ordered online. The gift I have been given is impossible to explain or describe. It’s something you have to experience for yourself. Just ask anyone who already has and they will tell you. (testimonials upon request) It is the reason for my endless supply of enthusiasm which is frequently way more than people can handle being exposed to all at once.
That is what this cross country “walk” for peace has become, in a most Magnificent way, and that is what I give to you. My email addy is walking4peace@yahoo.com I’m there whenever you are ready.
So, what are you waiting for? Go make your list of the 101 things you are most thankful for. Bask in the sheer joy of it all. Give yourself permission to really enjoy and celebrate the feeling that comes with the realization of all you have to be thankful for. Then drop me a line and share what you find there. I would love to hear from you. Please send this on to everyone you know because, as you know, the price of giving is. . .receiving. Besides, nothing is ever really ours until we give it away.
May all that you wish for be the least you receive!
Peace and Love,

Christopher,
You are magnificent because you're you, and you're spreading and observing peace. God bless you and yours and all the people you touch. And thanks for the 101 list. I've done it before but without saying, "I appreciate..." each time. That really does make it more meaningful. Blessings.

You are Magnificent in so many ways I'm sure you already know through your entire being. But, just in case you have forgotten ;-) you are Magnificent because you aren't afraid to break out of the mold, do what your spirit calls you to do, and do it with GUSTO! Thank you for all you give just by being true to your own spirit.
