I popped out of my mother half an hour after Valentine's Day; thankfully the theme of my life hasn't been "just too late for love". We lived on a farm in Zimbabwe when I was young and in summer holidays after we had ventured to a city in South Africa. I guess at times I'm a bit of a farm girl; love the calming cows (I was mad enough to wake up at 5am to wash one a few times) and the thrill of a galloping horse racing to the stable. Just can't bear to eat them or their 2-legged feathered friends and one-tailed flappers! Most of my life I've been renowned as being crazy for never wearing shoes, and a wild passionate one (farm girl that is).
I live with and love Grant - who I've known since he was 14 and I was 12, we weren't childhood sweethearts ~ we were crazy teenage friends ~ we stayed in touch over the years and I guess fate brought us together or something like that?
Together we've co-created a gorgeous little girl, Treya. She's a delight and sheer joy. Being 3 she's beautiful showing us her strengths and will. In Sept/Oct we 3 will become 4, how very exciting!
Our home is in the glorious English countryside. We have a lovely large garden for Treya to frolick and play. The flowers here are beautiful - all blooming in their own time, letting of scents to send me into heaven. To be blessed by the sparkle of nature and greeted with an alive light as we walk outside is awesome. I gasp in the cool fresh air and feel life tingling through my being, it's a magical place to live. The birds dance and the squirels scammpering, I feel in love and at peace. At night I lie in bed, with curtains open, so I can watch the stars and the moon - remembering there is so much to this universe. It connects me to the wondrous trust that all is aligned and unfolding perfectly.
I read. Probably a book a week - always something about growing as a person. I'm really into books about being happy with where I am NOW - things to do with Vision and knowing who I am. Often I read things on being a more aware mother and attachment parenting, and less these days of Non-Fiction. I'm a great fan of A Course In Miracles, and other philosophers/transpersonal Psychologists that take me into being closer to my True Self. Alongside the reading, I have a deep commitment to meditation and visioning.
We foster an 18 year old special needs student who goes to local Steiner/Ruskin College live with us. He's a sweetie, and needs lots of love, which we have to give! The students at the college mostly have higher functioning autism, and get to experience the contrast of depression, obsessions, and paranoias.
It's a delight for us to go Camping, singing around a bon-fire (gazing into the mesmerising flames, then glows, then cinders, then playing games with the ash!),
Things I haven't done and intend to:
Bungee jump, fly (literally), be invisible, duplicate myself like the old Tibetan mystics, be a pilot, act in a movie that transforms the world for better forever, be able to talk many languages, play music, sculpt, design my own house, create my figure to be as I envision it, be completely debt free and give more than I have ever borrowed to my debtors, tithe 75% of my income to spiritual and creative enterprises that transform and bring magic to people's lives, travel to most of the world, meet every type of healer in the world and heal James without him knowing. And much more!
Love and light to you,
Natalie
