I am a teacher, coach, athlete and enteurpeneur in no particular order. I recently achieved my dream of pursuing Network Marketing full-time.
My passion is skiing both water and x-country. I excelled on the water despite our short Canadian summers. I had a very exciting competitive career earning 5 consecutive womens national overall water ski titles 1985-89 and one international overall and team title in 1987 in Singapore. In 1989 I retired from competitive water skiing and started x-country skiing. One month after I started skiing I was invited to be a member of the newly formed Lakehead womens university team. I still compete on a local level and am certified as a level 3 instructor/coach. I enjoy helping others improve their skill and technique. I am very fortunate to have some of the worlds’ finest x-country ski trails within a 30 minute drive of my home.
In the summer of 1994 I founded Gibbies water ski school which I currently operate today along with my sister, brother, father and some close friends. Gibbies was the first water ski school in Canada to offer instruction for individuals with disabilities.
